Pentalog Romania SRL
( February 2022 — October 2022 )Tech Lead & Full-Stack Software Developer
Internal Project - Fintech Industry
Joined this team as an external resource, having to work with a team in France to extend their current solution, I was assigned as the Tech Lead of a team of 6 C# developers and 2 QAs.
Regarding the project:
- Their infrastructure was based on several microservices written in ASP .NET Core and Framework and one client application written in React.
- Each application used its own database (SQL MSSQL or NoSQL Mongo).
- In June, started to use AdobeXD and Figm along with the UX team to develop mockups for the development team.
Regarding the team, it was an Agile team that was using the Scrum framework.
The project is currently in production, the client interrupted the collaboration with Pentalog due to financial issues, relying currently on the local development team.
Internal Project - Telecommunication Industry
Worked on this project which was part of one of the biggest companies in the telecommunication industry, currently handling surveys and data analysis worldwide. Was assigned a project in charge of displaying the surveys to the clients, this was done using a complex architecture of microservices written in C# ASP .NET Core and C++.
Joined the team as a Tech Lead on C#, guided the developers in extending .NET projects, and guided the team into the Scrum framework. Extended responsibilities to the client application which was done in Svelte with Svelte-Kit soon after joining the team.
Regarding my responsibilities:
- Developed the client application and the .NET projects.
- Code reviewing the code that colleagues wrote in the backend and front.
- Maintained databases for each .NET project (SQL, MySQL, and MongoDB).
- Organised Katas every week with the development team in order to increase knowledge about TDD and CQRS architecture.
- Created mocks and diagrams for the team to help understand the current architecture. Those were mostly created in Figma and Adobe XD.
- Took great care of the DoD and C# and Svelte coding guidelines.
-
NetRom SRL
( June 2020 — February 2022 )Technical Lead
Internal Project - Fintech Industry
The project scope was to develop an application which manages the cashflow of the client based on the available invoices retrieved from the bank.
Before starting the actual development, I did a series of mockups of the application using Figma and AdobeXD, these mockups were further used as guidelines to develop the application.
As technical aspects:
- The backend of the application was created in C# ASP .NET Core using ASP .NET MVC architecture in order to serve the information to the client.
- Due to technical reasons, the database was using MS SQL.
- The client application was developed in AngularJS, using the latest version at that time.
- Deployment process was created using Docker and Kubernetes.
As my role as a technical lead, I had multiple sessions with the client to discuss the architecture that we will use in the future, before starting development
- Was in charge of creating the DoD and the coding guidelines for the MVP (backend and frontend).
- Maintained the deployment process up and running for the development team.
- Increased and optimized the processes inside the team, making sure that the team increases its business knowledge.
The MVP was successfully published in February 2022 and then moved companies, from NetRom to Pentalog.
Internal Project - Fintech Industry
The project scope was to develop an application which handles all the transactions from a bank on which then applies predefined rules in order to filter and check the availability of those transactions.
The development team was fully provided by NetRom and we've worked together with the client's product owner to achieve the product goals in terms of an MVP and a first version.
As technical aspects:
- We've used C# ASP .NET Core for the infrastructure.
- Python for the ML infrastructure.
- ReactJS and AngularJS for the client applications, there was a migration from AngularJS to ReactJS, therefore we've had to use both of them.
- For the deployment, we had an CI/CD of Docker, Kubernetes and Jenkins.
As for my responsibilities as a technical lead, I was in charge of helping the development team, making sure the CI/CD was working as expected and provide help and guidance for newcomers in the onboarding process
Since NetRom was handling the teams inside their company, they decided that I was required to another client.
